A friendly, well-established UK manufacturer of high-quality batch & prototype PCBs โ supplying every industry for over 60 years from our home at Stoneswood Mill. No quantity too small.
From a single prototype to a production batch, we manufacture, design, plot and assemble printed circuit boards in-house. However unusual the spec, we'll do our best to make it.
All types of board, made to your specification โ extra-thick copper, unusual laminates, however awkward. We'll source it and make it.
Happy to assist with circuit design and board layout, plus Microchip PIC programming in our favourite CCS C compiler. We can turn an idea into a working board.
Boards tooled up directly from Gerber, Eagle, Proteus, Protel, DesignSpark, PCB Wizard โ or even a scanned JPG or camera-ready artwork at 1:1 or 2:1.
Small batches assembled in-house; larger runs handled through our tried-and-tested assembly partners. We'll help source the related components too.
Reliable prototypes from a modern, hi-tech works โ with or without BBT. We can also scan and copy old boards to create brand-new Gerber tooling.
Silk-screened front panels and boxes, NC routing of complex shapes, and the unusual โ etched brass lampshades, sundials, even custom Arduino & Raspberry Pi shields.
Whatever the application โ cars, boats, lifts, trains, telephones, safety systems or LED lighting โ our boards end up all over the world.
Cost-effective single-layer boards, ideal for simpler circuits and high volumes.
Tracking on both faces for greater component density and design freedom.
Reliable plated barrels connecting layers โ the workhorse of robust electronics.
Multilayer prototypes and production for complex, high-performance designs.
Metal-backed boards for thermal management โ mainly high-power LED lighting.
Surface-mount technology boards for compact, modern assemblies.

P&M Services was founded back in 1964 by husband-and-wife team Peter and Margaret Unwin, and registered to its present name a year later. The very first boards were made in a converted shop on Ramsey Street in Rochdale โ the laminate coated with resist by spinning a panel on the end of a hand drill.
Times were hard in those early years. The family even managed without a phone line for a while; messages came via a bus journey to the works. From those humble beginnings grew one of Britain's longest-established printed-circuit-board manufacturers.
Today we work from historic Stoneswood Mill in Todmorden, West Yorkshire, blending decades of hands-on know-how with modern, hi-tech production. Still independent. Still proudly British.
Talk to the team โA genuinely friendly, knowledgeable British manufacturer that treats a one-off prototype with the same care as a production run.
Manufacturing PCBs continuously since 1964 โ knowledge you can't buy off the shelf.

Dedicated to all things electronic from an early age โ he built his own colour TV at 16. With decades of experience, Roger can't be faulted on his knowledge around PCBs and keeps right up to date with the latest research.
Well acquainted with circuit design and board layout, Trevor manages P&M's front-end CAD and data processing โ and is always happy to put his design and programming skills to good use turning an idea into reality.
